Added the reviews for July, and reworked my music collection page with individual images of every single cd and cassette! Also added some new items to the RuneScape shrine.
I missed uploading last month's reviews at the time, so now we have a double whammy! Yay!
Also, the whole site has been given a pass over to clean up my more amateurish css from when I first started my webdev learning. This mostly means a cleaner setup behind the scenes, but you'll notice the new body text colour - hopefully this makes the site easier on the eyes, especially with longer spans of text; as well as a new responsive mobile mode!
If something looks off, you may need to hard refresh the site (shift+ctrl+r) or clear your browser cache, but let me know in a neocities comment if anything looks broken after that.
It's been in the works for months and I finally have enough to share - my love letter to a years-long obsession, RuneScape. Covers my original time with RuneScape 2 as well as my return to playing OldSchool RuneScape near daily, has details on my favourite NPCs, and some screenshots!
Added album reviews for March and updated the tokusatsu shrine's guide with sections for Geats, Gotchard and Decade, as well as adding a couple terms to the glossary and updating my watchlist.
Check out the devlog section for a new entry on UI concepting and accessibility on a small scope! When you're done reading that, I also added a (short) lot of album reviews for last month!
Finally my dreams of reinventing 8tracks are realised - by the power of webamp you can now listen to my fanmixes and playlists on their respective pages. I've also added a playlist for my OC Orion to celebrate! I've also added some new doodads to my toybox page.
I'm changing my RSS url from https://tackyvillain.neocities.org/feed.txt to https://tackyvillain.neocities.org/feed.xml . You probably need to re-add it to your RSS viewer to get future updates. Sorry about that!
I've also added January's reviews. Lots of brutal death in there with awesome covers, as well as my thoughts on Burial's iconic release Untrue.
Swapped out featured art on front page for a webrings section, belatedly added december's album reviews, set up deploying from github (which makes updating way more convenient for me!!), general fixing and updates around the place. Happy new year!
A new site section - devlogs for my visual novel project. In the first entry I discuss my development so far, with character concepts and how I've been getting on with writing the script.
October's album reviews added! Featuring garage, technical brutal death metal, scottish emo. It's my longest yet...!
This is the first entry in the RSS feed - subscribe to keep up with new articles and pages here on my site.
