Hotfix and some plans on what's next
hewwo!

just a hotfix for an issue that was happening with viewing the cohost shrine on mobile so let's dive into it

mobile users can now actually view the eggbug gallery

yup, that's pretty self explanatory.
due to me trying to get the shrine done as quickly as possible i didn't exactly have time to figure out why images didn't display correctly on mobile.

however, thanks to lapisnev pointing me in the right direction on how to fix that(adding max-width to the offending image)

so now people on mobile can view the eggbug art and photos i've gathered

the commentbox is deleted

also self explanatory, i've gotten rid of the comment box that was on the shrine.

i still wanna give folks something to write their own thoughts in and the commentbox was meant as a temporary thing but i decided it would be better if i just didn't have anything there since i was gonna axe commentbox anyway once i found something

some thoughts on what i'm doing next with my site

i wanna take a moment to talk a bit about what i'm planning on doing next since the cohost shrine is finished for now.

while i am planning on adding on to it as i said, it's going to take a backseat whilst i work on some other stuff related to this site.

first, i'm gonna work on moving the devlog to it's own seperate page and have better pairity with the rss feed since i tend to ramble a bit in that.

speaking of which, i plan to make changes to how it's set up going forward, namely i'm probably gonna change the underlying code for it, nothing wrong with RuSShdown it's perfectly servicable i just kinda wanna do edits locally instead of using firefox to add a new post, plus the author section displays a little weirdly in my rss reader of choice(newsboat).

thirdly, i should clean up my code and look into an automatic formatter for neovim, this won't make any drastic changes to how the site looks but it'll be easier for me to work with.

and lastly, i'm gonna look at static site generators, as much as i like writing html i just know once i set up a blog with a seperate rss feed that it's gonna get tedious and being able to just write what i want in markdown and then have the needed stuff generated for me, it'll save me some time.

anyway thanks for reading this, i'm go sleep after this writing this and pushing the update, cheers.
