update: i started writing poetry again
Show full content

I used to write poetry in grade school and stopped once I got to college. Life got too busy and I forgot about it. I used to try to make all my poems rhyme, but writing poetry is a lot easier without worrying about making my sentences rhyme. Most of my poems end up depressing but I think it's because I was depressed for so long that all I want to write about is sad stuff. I want to write about happy things but honestly it's easier to write about sad topics. Even in grade school, before the peak of my depression my poems were sad. Not all of them, but most. I'm going to try my best to harness the happiness inside me and turn it into poetry.

Update!!! I got needohs!!!!
Show full content

I know i said needoh's were too hard for me, but i NEEDED the ice cream needoh. It's adorable and so squishy. It's the perfect consistency and it looks like a dreamsicle. Me and my gf woke up at 4am, got coffee, and waited in line for 3 hours at learning express to get needohs. I said I would never wait in line for squishies but I was tired of them being out of stock everywhere. It was fun waiting in line. We did the wordle, connections, mini crossword, and part of the midi crossword. There was a 6 item limit per family and 2 limit per style so they would not run out of stock quickly. What pissed me off was that they upped the prices because of the demand. Each needoh was around $10.

I also got the rainbow popsicle and it's super squishy and adorable! I love it. It feels good to squish and it doesn't hurt my hand.

I also got the orange nice cube swirl. It's super squishy but it came with a few imperfections. I'm kinda scared of it popping. I kinda wish I got a different color but I might get another one when the needoh craze dies down. I also want a gumdrop, but i'm afraid of it being too hard. Some people say they are super hard and some say they are soft. My gf got the purple jellyfish and the cake. I liked the jellyfish more than I thought i would. It was really soft. The cake was really soft too. I have the nice cube from last year and it's too hard for me. Maybe I like needohs more than I thought.

blueberry update🫐
Show full content

I got my hair done a few months ago and I love it!!! It's blueberry neopolitan!!! I wanted ro get my whole head done but it was too expensive. The place i went to was pricy but I never gotten my hair dyed professionally before so I didn't know what I was getting into. If I did more research, I probably could have gotten my whole head done, but it's ok. I did it a bit impulsively, but it turned ok so cute! It's fading a bit green and everyone who complements me hair says, "i love your green hair!" It's not green, it's blue!!!! But it's ok, it still slays.

I'm obsessed with the strawberry shortcake lol dolls, they are precious. I got blueberry muffin and she was the one I wanted!!!! I really want lime chiffon too. There is a hack on how to get the character you want on tiktok. I didn't know about until after I got her but I'm going to try it when I want to get another one. I happened to get blueberry muffin and there was one doll left at my local target. At the time I didn't know they were being sold at Walmart. My local Walmart had a whole box of them. Now I know where to go next time I want one lol.

a chronic illness rant
Show full content

"Get better soon." And you hope you do. You really hope you do. And you never get better. Because your conditions are CHRONIC. Your family and friends don't understand. Your doctors don't understand. Nobody does. And you feel alone. You take all the medications and supplements the doctors throw at you and you still feel like shit. You can't work. You can't get around like you used to. Nothing is the same after chronic illness stole your life. I hope you find any type of relief with the shitty hand you were delt.

2 of my favorite toys from my childhood :)
Show full content

                                    1. Littlest Pet Shops

I LOVED the Teeniest Tiniest LPS aquarium. I can't remember if I had any more of these sets, but I do remember having the aquarium one. I think it's still in my sunroom where I used to play with my toys as a child lol. I found this picture on eBay and it is on the market for $39.95. I'm not sure how much LPS stuff goes for but that doesn't seem too bad.

I remember asking for the Little Lovin' Playhouse for Christmas one year. I don't know if I still have it, but I remember playing with it so much. I adored the fish in the middle of the house. It was so aesthetically pleasing.
 2. American Girl Dolls
I was OBSESSED with American Girl Dolls. I didn't like playing with them, but I liked having them to dress them up and do their hair. I also liked having them just to look at. I thought they were pretty. The first American Girl Doll I got was for Christmas when I was around 8 years old and it didn't really look like me. The choices in 2009 were limited, but I LOVED that doll. My mom bought us matching Christmas dresses and I was so excited. I can't remember what I named her and I feel so fake rn lol. I also had Felecity and Rebecca. I went to the American Girl Doll store in Dallas when I was little and that's when I got Rebecca. I remember going through all the boxes to pick out the perfect one. I also had another AG with red hair that I named Vicky. I thought I ate with that name lol.

This is Felecity. I can't remember why I wanted her tbh (I'm not saying this as a bad thing, I just can't remember why I wanted her specifically). Her dress is so cute though. I still have her, but her hair is MESSED up.

I went to the American Girl Doll store in Dallas when I was little and that's when I got Rebecca. I remember going through all the boxes to pick out the perfect one lol.

I remember playing Innerstar University on the computer in the living room. I loved playing the diving game. I just remembered that game while writing this lol.

I remember having my mom getting me this book when I was little. I flipped through it and was so confused lol. I feel like I had another one did idk what it was called. I also feel like I have seen it laying around somewhere lol.

If you made it to the end, thanks for reading!
