Re-intro and Quick Update in a Long Time!
NEWS2026connectconnetdietfemtechfitnessfoodhealthhealthy eatingnew2026nutritionnutritionnobrainerplugsreintroUPDATE
What changed behind the scenes, and why my work looks very different now!
Show full content
Hey, you! Yeah, you:

If you’ve been following my writing here for a while, or you’ve landed on this page more recently (despite barely any updates suddenly), I wanted to take a moment to re-introduce myself and share where my work has evolved.

My name is Emile Hung (Emz).

I’m a FemTech premium ghostwriter, health & nutrition digital writer, and final-year medical student, and most importantly, I’m someone who believes that education is the fastest, most ethical way to create real impact at scale.

Over the past few years, my work has shifted beyond standalone blogging into something more intentional and systems-driven. I realized that while ideas matter, how they’re delivered, and how people are nurtured through them, matters even more.

That’s where my focus lives now.

What I actually do (and what I don’t)

I’m not a freelance writer “for hire”.

And I’m not just a blogger sharing surface-level thoughts (anymore)

I contribute as a strategic partner to FemTech founders and health-focused businesses: helping them turn their expertise into educational email systems that build trust, loyalty, and long-term growth (without relying solely on social media’s rented attention).

At the same time, I continue to build my own thought leadership in nutrition and women’s health, most notably through my original framework, The Nutrition No-Brainers: five simple principles that define the LEAST you need to know to eat healthily.

My Focus (and why I care so much)

Two things frustrate me deeply:

• In FemTech, too many mission-driven founders rely almost entirely on social media, constantly overlooking email as the most powerful tool for education, nurturing, and sustainable scale.
• In nutrition, people are still overwhelmed by conflicting advice, second-guessing themselves, or believing healthy eating has to be complicated (I was definitely one of them).

My work sits at the intersection of those problems.

I believe:

  • Education should come before conversion
  • Systems beat hacks
  • Clarity cuts through noise
  • And when people truly understand why something matters, trust follows naturally

Where to find me now

I’m most active on LinkedIn, where I share:

  • Best practices in educational email marketing
  • Insights on women’s health and nutrition
  • Behind-the-scenes thinking on building systems that actually work

You can also find me:

Let’s stay connected

If you’ve been reading my work here and want to stay in touch, I’d love that!

Feel free to connect and send me a quick DM on LinkedIn, say hi from the blog, and let me know which platform you’ll be following me on next!

Thanks for being here, and for continuing to think, question, and learn alongside me.

Sincerely,

Emile Hung (Emz)

The 5-Step Nutrition Framework I Use To Stay Lean, Energized, and Mentally Sharp

The 5 Simple Nutrition Strategies That Fuel My Health, Focus, and Vitality
Show full content

In July 2024, I completely revamped my diet, and within as little as 2 weeks, my mental clarity and energy skyrocketed.

These are the 5 simple (but effective) principles I’d give anyone starting out on healthy eating and nutrition (or who wants to get started!):

Principle #1: Choose Low-Glycemic Foods

Eating low-glycemic foods helps stabilize blood sugar levels, preventing energy crashes and fat storage.

Principle #2: Prioritize High-Quality Protein

Daily intake of sufficient and high-quality protein supports muscle repair, boosts metabolism, and enhances focus, aiding fat loss and mental clarity.

Principle #3: Cook with Olive or Coconut oil

These healthy oils provide essential fats that support brain function and fat-burning without causing inflammation.

Principle #4: Favor Whole, Natural Foods

Whole foods are nutrient-dense and free from additives, keeping your body energized and your mind sharp.

Principle #5: Avoid added sweeteners;
Instead, Enjoy Natural Sweetness

Eliminating processed sweeteners or even direct sugar (either white or brown or even honey) reduces insulin spikes, preventing fat gain while maintaining mental focus and steady energy.

I wish I’d learned these 5 things earlier in my life.

But I’m at least glad that I can pass them along to you.

I once thought healthy eating was a constant struggle, until simple systems transformed my approach!

Top 3 Reasons Why Educational Email Courses (EECs) Are Incredibly Useful
COMMENTARIESToolscontent-marketingdigital-marketingeducationeducationalemailcourseeecEECsemailemail-marketingmarketingseo
What if you could teach someone something valuable every single day, without ever needing a live session? Here is the Hidden Power of Educational Email Courses: 3 Reasons to Start Using Them
Show full content

Educational Email Courses (EEC) are one of the most powerful tools for building long-term relationships with your audience.

An EEC helps businesses capture attention, nurture leads, and build trust—leading to higher conversions, more loyal customers, and more predictable revenue.

Here are the top 3 reasons EECs are insanely advantageous for businesses:

1. EECs build High-Quality Email Lists from Existing Traffic or Social Media Audiences

EECs allow businesses to capture and convert their growing social media audiences or website traffic into email subscribers.

With email, you can build a direct and long-term relationship with your audience, rather than relying on rented platforms like social media where algorithm changes can limit your reach.

2. EECs drive Higher Conversions by Offering Value Before Asking for the Sale

Unlike traditional opt-ins, EECs offer value upfront by educating your audience over a series of days.

This nurtures potential customers (become warm leads) and primes them to take action when you eventually offer your product or service. As a result, email conversions are often significantly higher than on social media or website forms alone.

3. EECs Keep Your Audience Engaged, Even When You’re Not Actively Posting

Social media engagement is fleeting, but an email list is a sustainable asset that allows you to stay in constant contact with your audience.

By running an EEC, you can keep your followers engaged over a period of time, building trust and credibility that can directly lead to increased sales and loyal customers.

How I Find Peace in 15 Minutes a Day After Years of Struggling With Anxiety
    HEALTHLIFEResources15minanxietybreathingcalmeasyframeworkhowtomentalmentalhealthmethodoriginaloriginalmethodoverwhelmreacticereactiverechargeresetsquarebreathing
My 3-Step Method to Reset My Mind and Find Instant Calm (Even on My Craziest Days)!
    Show full content

I’ve struggled with anxiety since childhood, to the point where it affected my physical health.

Over the years, I’ve developed a simple, yet powerful, method to reset my mind when I feel overwhelmed or drained—especially during breaks, like lunch or after long, mentally exhausting and highly reactive days.

Inspired by podcasts from Ali Abdaal, Jay Shetty, Tim Ferriss, and Lewis Howes, I developed my own routine to calm my mind and find stillness. As an introvert, social interactions drain me, and I often feel overwhelmed by a fast pace-culture around me, so I’ve learned to carve out moments of peace to recharge.

    Here’s my method for resetting:

    Step 1: 5-Minute Square Breathing

I lie eyes closed, face down on a soft surface, such as my bed and practice square breathing—inhale for 4 counts, exhale for 4 counts. After two rounds (2 inhales and 2 exhales on one side, be it right or left side), I turn my head to the other side and repeat until my timer goes off.

I focus solely on my breath and ensure the environment is quiet, free from distractions. The prone position helps me engage my lungs for deeper breathing, a technique I learned from past health struggles with wheezing and constant cold symptoms.

    Step 2: 10-Minute Relaxation

Next, I turn over on my back, face up, aligning my body with no tension in my legs or spine (legs not bent, just stretched forward.

I continue with eyes closed and the square breathing for 10 minutes, focusing only on my breath.

While this position is less engaging than lying face down, it helps further release tension and perhaps I even fall asleep quite deeply (having a richer sense of nap/sleep)

    Step 3: Extended Routine

If I have more time, I extend this practice to 30-60 minutes to fully release mental strain.

Without this reset, I often find myself mentally overwhelmed, making poor decisions and feeling scattered, ineffective and unproductive.

This simple method helps me regain clarity and calm—whether I’m winding down after a busy day or feeling stressed mid-task. I hope it can provide the same relief for anyone struggling with anxiety and overwhelm!

    No-Brainer Health-I have a dream

My dream for healthy living and exercise!

    I have a dream today.

I have a dream that one day, making healthy choices will be as easy as breathing, where every meal we eat nourishes our body, not harm it.

A day when processed and high-glycemic foods and snacks are no longer such a common choice, but a distant memory.
A day when we no longer reach for quick fixes, but instead choose foods that fuel our longevity, vitality, and strength.

I have a dream that one day, people of all ages will embrace strength training—not as a trend, but as a way of life.

A day when lifting weights, building muscle, and improving our resilience is seen not just as a path to aesthetics, but as a foundation for a long, fulfilling life.
A life where, after 60, we are not trapped by frailty or disease, but empowered by our own bodies, moving with strength, balance, and confidence.

I have a dream that one day, we will reclaim our health, not just for ourselves but for future generations.
A day when quality of life doesn’t diminish with age, but instead flourishes as we grow older, stronger, and wiser.

    This is our path.

A path where healthy choices aren’t just possible—they are the easiest, most natural choices.

And I believe, with every fiber of our being, that we can make this dream a reality—for ourselves, and for the world.

    Thank you.

3 Personal Takeaways of NOW19’s Quote of the Week
    MUSINGSnow19quotequoteinterprettakeawaytakeaways
Here are 3 key personal understandings of NOW19's quote of the week!
    Show full content

“Don’t fear failure. Not failure, but low aim, is the crime. In great attempts it is glorious even to fail.”
    — Bruce Lee

Bruce Lee’s quote struck a chord with me recently while training a client at Educogym.

Here are three personal takeaways from this:

    1. Embrace the Struggle: Failure isn’t the problem—it’s setting our sights too low that holds us back.

I’ve learned that attempting to push past limits, even if we fall short, is where real growth happens.

It’s about challenging ourselves, not playing it safe.

      2. Small Wins Matter: When a client couldn’t hit full reps at a higher weight, they felt like they were failing.

I reassured them that even attempting those heavier weights, even if imperfectly, was progress.

Every small win is a step toward a larger goal.

        3. Patience Leads to Mastery: Whether it’s doing the full squats, make-up, or body transformation, consistency and patience are key.

I’ve seen results from persistent effort, and I know that with time and practice, I’ll achieve the goals I’m aiming for—no matter how many times I fall short along the way.

In the end, it’s not about perfection but about continuously striving to reach new heights.
