My site is now under CC0. I was figuring that it'd be best if people didn't have to worry about any licenses when using parts of my website in their works, and that the complicated dual license somewhat contradicted the message of the Copyheart movement. Because of this, I decided to throw this project into the public domain.
Oh yea, and also because IP isn't actually property, but that's a whole 'nother can of worms that would take a loooong time to explain. If you wanna learn about the invalidity of copyright, you can check out this LiquidZulu video.
Here's the content of that post in case you don't want to visit the thread:
Finally "finished" (I'm still ironing things out) a bit of an overhaul to my site:
General:
>oh my heckin' gosh these bullet points are just like my chat jeepeatees
Added splash text. As of writing, there's 27 which are randomly chosen whenever the page is loaded
Switched to a a 3 column layout on the home page to fit the new content
Added the header to all pages
Added a footer to every page
The list of blogs and articles can be accessed from the index
I'm now using a dual licensing scheme for my site. The site's code is now under the MIT license, whereas the content is still under CC-BY 4.0
Cleaned up the code site wide
Added a page (cool linkz) for dumping links to cool sites. I'll give it a proper icon at some point in the future
Blogs and Articles
A gazillion fixes and revamps to my backlog of posts. I recommend coming back to your favorite posts to see what's changed
There's now a button to take you back to the top of the page
You can now access other posts from the sidebar
Navigation menu is now inside a tag for le epic accessibility or whatever
On a side note, I've updated the Codeberg mirror for my site to be up-to-date with the others. I'll add it soon to the list of mirrors on the footer.
You can check the source code for my site here if you wanna have a look.
My blogs and articles page has been updated with a more space efficient, visually pleasing layout. I also replaced the note on how the entries are sorted as it's pretty obvious that the ordering is reverse chronological. The new notice just lets visitors know they can view this feed to see notices to new blogs and articles and updates to existing ones.
I decided to "finish" this article. It's still not particularly great but it should at least have a conclusion of sorts. I also changed the Windows 7 logo to one with text, and has better looking transparency.
