Mainly to add my wiki blog on there, and note that I don’t use DW anymore due to having my own blog. I would like to add other RSS reader recs on there that are easy for noobs to use (don’t require self hosting).
Ty everyone for coming out for backyardmarketclt even though it was raining and freezing ❤️🌈
Shane made some wonderful new calendars (which you can get on our online shop rn 🙂↕️), as well as some popup Valentines day cards with my lil Hank Hills (to be photographed then uploaded online). If the event moves from the backyard to another space, I will be happy to follow and continue to hang out with all the super cool people who make the market such a fun event.
I have collected my last 7 Snowflake Challenge posts into a blog post. Scrolling down and seeing the collective John Redcorn and Slaxl goonery all together is pretty crazy.
You can still subscribe on my kofi for sticker club and monthly request doodles. In fact, you should subscribe for the new year if you want :)
ALTALT
Ko-fi doodles from now on will be reserved for subscribers, since I gotta do like 7 of them a month now. Occasionally I may open up ko-fi doodles to the public when I need to fundraise for something (like hospital bills lol). I will let y'all know about those occassions in future social media posts.
I am still working on packing orders and sticker club stuff from December. Everything is printed (mandrake postcard, vulture sticker, Carrie sticker), I just need to lock in tonight and tomorrow, and write addresses and stuff.
I still believe that it would be great for workers/artists to be transparent about finances, and luckily for you I am not embarrassed to admit when and HOW MUCH I bombed. 😉
Someone on instagram said they’d like to see the metalocalypse guys in my style. Lucky for them, I have drawn them many times. I updated my booru with a bunch of older metalocalypse and home movies art <3 Some even from the Pre-War Era (high school). i wanna draw these guys again!!! when i find time in between john redcorn gooning seshs
Here’s the doodles I did during Queen City Zine Fest, and some art I got. I wrote a review of the event on my site. TL;DR: we got a bad spot but the staff was nice and I got to talk about KOTH yaoi (especially people shipping Kahn!!!) with people 🙂
I’m happy with our very light luggage and display for this event. Did some new stuff with a store catalog + print book rather than trying to find space to display it all. Also thrifted a clear pocket teacher hanging thingy, that was fun to display stickers. I also got a nice haul of print materials, I linked to the individual artists in my review post!
And other assorted depressing IRL crap if you want to know why I’ve been depressed and crap lately! Wow! Hope this encourages other people to have their own site :3c
I’d use Tumblr for blogging but… now that I’ve the taste of “owning my own data” and having it on my own computer so it’s portable if and when Tumblr eats its own ass, I’d rather just type stuff on my own site :P
If you really really really really love me, you should let me know which pieces of art you’d like to see uploaded as a priority onto the booru <3 As I wrote on my blog, I love the booru format for being able to cleanly tag ships and characters!
Gonna be vending and doing live caricatures at SLUTFEST again, on August 16th, 2025 at the Chapel of Bones in Raleigh. Visit me. See Mr. Piss. And a lot of other great bands and wrassling. Get tickets now.
Made a page for IRL events I’ve been to and want to attend. I am also writing reviews/notes on the events, as a vendor and attendee. Such as the latest one I attended, the Scatterbrain screening! I am more likely to write more words on stuff I enjoyed, so everything for now is a good review LOL.
One of the many other pages I’m working on is a commission page for pet portraits, with examples and pricing. The wiki format is useful for quickly typing up the words, not worrying about the styling.
The last page I want to bring attention to is my exchanges page for gifts I’ve received and made. I want to figure out some method to blur out individual NSFW images with the HTML limitations of a wiki. But I’ve added most of the stuff I’ve done this year, will be adding more of the past later. It will help clean up the art page on my main site for more static projects!

I'mma be screening some animations we made LIVE, irl with Scatterbrain Screenings, for AAPI month 😼 Come hang out and watch cartoons with us if you’re in North Carolina!
It loads a LOT faster than Airtable or Cryptpad or trello lemme tell ya that! I can edit it anywhere I have internet, without an app. Might change my price list to be on my wiki too, I hate how slow Airtable loads!
In the past I’ve embedded my manually written RSS feed as an iframe and enjoyed that - except for the “manually writing an RSS feed” part, which I find difficult on desktop and impossible on my phone.
Then I switched to embedding the RSS feed from this blog with javascript. Which is fine, cuz writing updates on this blog is easier than manually doing an RSS feed, but it loads slowly.
I’m sure you’re NOT supposed to do this with wikis, and you’re NOT supposed to use iframes in 2025. But IDK whatever. No one has told me what is the proper way that is also easy. So I will continue to jury rig Hugelculture mounds with my online setup until they fall over in a hurricane.
