Last panel was installed a few days ago in the @shopuvillage mural/construction wall project that I’ve been drawing on since January. Whenever I do zine workshops I always bring a suitcase full of other people’s zines, but this time around I’m also adding a good grip of my own. The Obsessive Consumption zine series had ninety volumes and I am pretty sure I have at least one set intact. ⭐️

Prepping for my Austin trip and I was reminded of one of the MANY city/state themed tote bags illustrations I made for @madewell whenever they would open a new store (I think I made almost 40 of these?!) put me on your Trivia team. I have lots of facts because of this job. This is also where I first worked with Art Director @miriamblankenship ❤️🙌

I’m headed to the University of Texas-Austin on Sunday as a guest of @urban_jason and the printmaking program! Gonna workshop it up with some grads and undergrads and I also will be giving a public talk on Tuesday at 4pm in the art building. Tonight my dear friend @ianjwhitmore is having a show and book release party @shopfieldtrip from 6-9 in Portland. Ian traveled around the country last August and tonight he’s sharing his photos and his book Forty-Seven Hundred Miles which is filled with photos from his trip. Ian is has has taught me a lot of things over the years and one of these things is that any helmet that isn’t a full faced helmet is bullshit. Here’s to Ian and here’s to full faced helmets! I bought this shirt in 1997 for 25 cents at the Pink Door Thrift shop in Branson, Missouri. Oh look how ironic I am! I’m 20! And I’m wearing a shirt that says I’m 40! Hilarious! Today, my dear friend @zacharyschomburg turns 40. He was actually with me when I bought this shirt 20 years ago. In a few months I will be 40. I would like to officially declare that we are indeed feeling sporty. Happy Birthday Zach! ❤️🏅🏇❤️
