Comment on Pandora Cyber Attack Exposes Customer Data Via Third-Party Vendor by _mitch.el
The worst is when they get my Name, Surname, e-mail and phone number. I can block and recreate one of my credit cards in a second but I would like to keep my name, personal e-mail and number as it is! Hope I won't die from spam during the next days. Shame on you PandorO!!!

Comment on BADBOX 2.0 Found Preinstalled on Android IoT Devices Worldwide by Anonymous UK
You really need to name the android manufacturer or Model names.. UK Android market is pretty stringent on supply of safe devices that unless downloading from apk websites that offer apk versions of apps, most are safe but using virus total site to check the app for malware ect & it's free.

I also get phone calls from "health insurers" that come from the area code of my cell phone. They are doing the same thing on the phone as in text and emails.

Comment on Firefox Tests AI-Powered Perplexity Search Engine Directly in Browser by Waqas
In reply to Mister Dalliard. Firefox itself has faced privacy issues in the past, and we didn’t cover those in the article either. This was specific news; the ifs and buts of Perplexity and its privacy concerns can be addressed in a separate piece, nothing to be ashamed of. Thanks!

Well I guess it's time to ditch Firefox. Are there any browsers left that don't include privacy-shredding hallucination engines? (And seriously, shame on the author of this for unquestioningly parroting Perplexity's press releases without reference to their serious privacy issues - something Firefox and their users used to care about.)
