§ Rabbit rabbit. Happy February. It has been seven months since the last time the first day of a month fell on a Sunday. Now it will happen two months in a row. Calendars, huh? § Winter storm Fern hit between Sunday and Monday, dropping eleven inches of snow on my town in the span of 24 hours. It was definitely disruptive but could have been worse. The most annoying part is that sustained cold weather all week ensured that any snow that wasn’t immediately dealt with turned into a thick permanent layer of ice.
