“Don’t meet your heroes,” I’ve heard. “People are imperfect” I counter. Here are a few people I look up to, with the reasons I look up to them stated. They may have flaws, but the flaws are not why I look up to them1. I admire them mainly for the good that they do, and for choosing – in what seems like a batshit crazy move to many - not to prioritize profit2.
