Hi! 👋 I'm Taavi (he/him or they/them). I'm a nerd.

Currently I'm studying at Tampere University.

On the side I help run a private cloud platform that supports various processes in the Wikimedia movement. In the past I modernised most of jQuery's infrastructure.

In my free time I'm also involved in some free software projects. In addition those already mentioned, these include Wikimedia, where I've had commit ("+2") access to MediaWiki core since 2021 and in August 2022 was awarded the Wikimedia Tech Contributor of the Year award and Debian, where I am a full Debian Developer. Most recently I've gotten involved with running the Libera Chat IRC network.

Some of my miscellaneous personal projects are hosted on my personal git server.

I like trains (and other modes of transport).
