my dream job is one in which i can help people organize and structure uncomplicated things… no mathematics…. and i can be in a quiet and calm environment with little time pressure… and i make enough money to live comfortably… can such a thing exist!?!?
trying to be more practical with my clothing buys… i have a frequent problem of “i dont know what to wear, i don’t feel like xyz matches and im too anxious to try it”, and i often feel unsettled in short skirts, so i got some simple long skirts that can be thrown on with almost anything
i was really lucky to find the skirt i always wear in a different color (3rd image). i wear it almost every day to work and to outings because it’s simple and comfortable and very long
i want to read more scifi… last week i made a list of stories i would like to try. i set up i robot, ubik, and reasons to be cheerful on my phone, and i am going to try reading one on the porch right now.
it seems hard to find acclaimed and modern (last 10 years) scifi stories. i guess because they haven’t proven to stand the test of time yet… and/or i am bad at looking for that kind of thing! a lot of the books i noted down are from 1950-1980. the way people wrote about scifi concepts in that period is really really intriguing…. i am curious if there are any modern scifi stories you guys like
it is often that i want to talk to people, but i cannot think of anything substantial to say, and thinking of something worthwhile requires so much energy that it is like i might as well not say anything at all…. how pitiful…….
this is happening today, i can’t play much until tonight… (like 7PM EST). i thought we had already started, but i guess its not going til later tonight (OOPS) so ill be fine

my dog, zuley, passed away on march 7th. she was almost 19 years old. she became very ill and we decided it was kinder to euthanize than attempt treatment (slow/unlikely to succeed). her death was peaceful and i was with her the whole time.
i love her a lot forever. she was extremely sweet, i feel like it is very difficult to express all the reasons i love her and not currently mentally beneficial, but she was very important to me

i’m excited for otakon this year… i will probably be really busy with volunteering, but i am hoping to be more social this time. i feel less social pressure at these events because i know basically everyone else is really socially awkward and i don’t have to be on my social game lol.
2 years prior, i went to the nekonyan panel and was really not feeling it, but i’m starting to think i can find more appreciation for doing some exploring now… i think ill have a lot of trouble finding my “crowd” but i guess i am better at just having fun with nerd groups i dont fit into (vast majority) and leaving if i’m not having fun. really gotta be on top of the latter though.

i went in ambulance…. it turned out to be nothing so dont worry…. it was a really weird experience though, and the guy doing my finger prick seemed way more nervous than me, he was shaking a lot and they said he was new…… poor guy
color is so difficult for me to understand, but i feel like it is so much more important than good linework and anatomy in making a visually appealing piece. bwaaaaaa!

poasti want to put my neopets faerieland with the pink figures but its too tall!!!! the top shelf is tall enough for itbut i dont want them on the top... theyre some of my favorites..... i want them closest to my eyes....
i want to create a more intentional display… the shape of this shelf is just such a pain in the ass -.- plushes could probably help break up the space, but it’s really hard to put typical shelf stuff like books, dvds, and boxes up here. i miss my normal rectangle shelf and putting a bunch of crap on my desk….
maybe i’ll move my dark maid collection to another shelf and clear up the space for a start >_> happy to hear folks’ experiences with corner shelves
