"Milla Jovovich's GitHub repo" is not a phrase I expected to see today. https://github.com/milla-jovovich/mempalace

Only the Louve has *the* Mona Lisa, but here’s what other institutions consider to be *their* Mona Lisas! https://ironicsans.ghost.io/its-t-mona-lisa/
I just moved Gisnep’s upgraded mobile version from beta to the main site. So if you ever stopped playing Gisnep because you found the mobile experience frustrating, now’s a great time to revisit! https://gisnep.com/
Turns out, the first website to ever be hacked was the website for the movie Hackers

After 6 years, covid finally got me. So far, it sucks. Any tips?
Dammit, this is actually starting to be fun.
I can't decide if this is fun and worth developing further or if I should just toss it on my pile of half-baked vibe-coded ideas. It's a game about a man who was bitten by a radioactive pac and now he has the proportionate strength and agility of a pac. That's right, he’s the amazing pac-man.
He has the proportionate strength and agility of the radioactive pac that bit him
Felt cute might delete later
I think the topic of my next newsletter is so interesting that I'm tempted to send it early just because I want people to see it. But it's going out on schedule, next week on Tuesday. Sign up to make sure you don't miss it. That's all I'm saying. https://ironicsans.ghost.io/
I love these 80s headshots of famous artists. Jeff Koons, Cindy Sherman, Jenny Holzer, and more https://ironicsans.ghost.io/80s-headshots-of-famous-artists/
Anyone here play #Gisnep on mobile? I'm testing a new-and-improved mobile experience that I could use some playtesters for. DM me!
Flashback to when you could get a cool job in the newspaper classifieds. From the Sunday NYTimes this week in 2000. And that’s how I became Polo Ralph Lauren’s staff photographer for the next 7 years.
Maybe the most useful thing I've ever vibe-coded: It's a Hazel-like app that uses a local multimodal LLM to file scanned or downloaded documents, relying on both OCR and AI vision to determine what they are. Perfect for the things Hazel can't file like greeting cards, miscellaneous one-offs that don't match specific rules, etc. I run it locally for privacy so I don't send personal documents to OpenAI. It's much slower than Hazel, but smarter. Working together they handle pretty much everything.
The mysterious cartoonist who goes by pseudonym Olivia Jaimes has left the comic strip Nancy which she revitalized with sometimes surreal, absurdist and self-aware humor in 2018. Starting today Nancy is by Eisner winner Caroline Cash. Exciting times for Nancy fans! https://www.gocomics.com/extras/nancy-olivia-jaimes-retires
I can’t believe tomorrow’s Gisnep is #500!! That’s a lot of puzzles. If you aren’t already playing, a vast archive awaits you! https://gisnep.com
No newsletter this week, but it’s a good opportunity to catch up on the last edition in which I attempted to find every giant model whale in the world, in size order. (Spoiler: the blue whale at the American Museum of Natural History is not the biggest!) https://ironicsans.ghost.io/there-be-whales-here/
The last episode of Pluribus comes out on December 26, just one day too late to call the episode A Christmas Carol.
